Round Rock High School Band Concert, February 1

Our winter concert is on Wednesday, February 1st at 7:00pm at the PAC.  At that concert we’ll be talking about next year’s marching season, specifically what shows the varsity and junior varsity bands will be doing AND we’ll have a rep in from the travel company to talk about the trip to Indianapolis in November to go back to BOA.
We’d love to have all incoming 8th graders (and their parents) who are headed to RRHS in the fall present for the concert.  Could you help publicize the date or let me know how I could best get that info out to your kiddos?

Spring Fundraiser Starts Today

Today your children should be bringing home a fundraising packet!
Why Fundraise?
25% of what your child raises will go directly into their Trip Account. This is a great way for our students to offset this expense. Many students have completely paid off their balance in the past! 
25% of what your child raises will go into the band activity account. Our program goal is to raise enough money to purchase some MUCH NEEDED instruments for the band program.
We understand that many of you may wish to opt out of participating in this Fundraiser. If you so desire, you may make a monetary donation directly to the band program. 
All checks should be made payable to CeVMS Band.

New Sectional Schedule (begins November 7)

Fall Sectionals (Advanced Bands only)

Fall Sectionals 2016

Above is the fall sectional schedule for advanced bands. The top section is the morning sectionals, and the bottom section is for afternoon sectionals. Each sectional is also labeled by band. H is for Honor Band, S is for Symphonic Band, and C is for Concert Band. Morning sectionals begin at 7:00 AM sharp, and afternoon sectionals start at 3:45 PM and go until 4:45 PM. All sectionals will begin this Monday, August 29.

There is going to be one exception to this, the Concert Band flute and oboe sectionals will move this next week only to Wednesday after school, from August 29 to August 31. The normal schedule will apply in the following weeks. If you have any questions, please contact your director.

Percussion Summer Checkout

Percussionist who are continuing in band must fill out the summer usage form. You do not have to pay! Please click on the box that indicates Summer Usage.

Concert Opportunity

This Sunday, May 15, at 2pm, the Cedar Park Winds will be performing it’s Spring Concert, at Vandegrift High School.

For students that attend, one practice log will be changed to a 100% with a signed program.
