Spring Fundraiser Starts Today

Today your children should be bringing home a fundraising packet!
Why Fundraise?
25% of what your child raises will go directly into their Trip Account. This is a great way for our students to offset this expense. Many students have completely paid off their balance in the past! 
25% of what your child raises will go into the band activity account. Our program goal is to raise enough money to purchase some MUCH NEEDED instruments for the band program.
We understand that many of you may wish to opt out of participating in this Fundraiser. If you so desire, you may make a monetary donation directly to the band program. 
All checks should be made payable to CeVMS Band.

New Sectional Schedule (begins November 7)

Advanced Practice Logs Start Today!

Today you should begin to document your practice for a grade.  To access the practice log, go to https://roundrock.musicfirstclassroom.com/login

We recommend that you bookmark that page!

Login: firstname.lastname

Password: studentID# (no s)

The practice log should appear on the left side of your dashboard.  Enter minutes/what you practiced/what you accomplished and click SAVE PROGRESS.

At the end of the week (Thursday night or Friday) you can add up your minutes and click FINISH AND SUBMIT.

The grading scale is listed at the bottom. 10% off for any day less than 4 that you practice, 10% off for everyday that the practice log is late.

WARNING: If you click FINISH AND SUBMIT before you’re ready to turn in your practice log, you will no longer be able to access it!

Summer Band 2016!

We are SO EXCITED to see you all for Summer Band! Just a reminder that Summer Band will be from 9AM-12PM in the Band Hall August 1st – 4th and August 8th – 11th. Please plan to arrive around 8:50ish so everybody is seated and ready to go at 9AM.


LOCKERS – You are more than welcome to use your locker from last year to store your instrument case during the camp. There are NO LOCKS, so you will not be able to leave your instruments overnight, unless you have a larger instrument, and we will decide on a case by case basis.


TUBAS – You will NEED to bring your instrument from home. We will not have enough Tubas here for you to use. Please bring your mouthpiece as well. You will be allowed to leave it here overnight.

DIVIDERS – We are going to be very organized this year. Every student should have a black binder (1.5 inch please) that has 5 dividers. The dividers should be labeled as follows: INFO, DAILY, PEP, CONCERT & SECTIONAL. For a picture of what this should look like,click here. We have also attached a PDF of labels for you to print out and use.

Schlitterbahn Itinerary

8:00 am       Depart campus on charter buses and travel to New Braunfels

9:35 am       Arrive Schlitterbahn

10:00 am     Park Opens!

1:30-2:00 pm         MANDATORY CHECK-IN WITH CHAPERONS (Lagoon Area)

5:00 pm       Meet at Lagoon Umbrella Area to go to buses as a group

5:15 pm       Depart Schlitterbahn to go back home



Bring a cooler with a lunch, or money to buy a lunch.

Bring a towel, sunscreen, and protective footwear.

Do NOT bring any glass items.

Please leave all electronics on the bus.

Concert Opportunity

This Sunday, May 15, at 2pm, the Cedar Park Winds will be performing it’s Spring Concert, at Vandegrift High School.

For students that attend, one practice log will be changed to a 100% with a signed program.

End of the Year CD Order Form

Below you will find an order form for the end of the year CD. This CD contains all of the recordings from this year’s concerts. Please turn in the form to your band director by May 20.

Fundraiser Item Arrive Friday, March 4th

The fundraiser items from the spring fundraiser will be arriving on campus Tomorrow, March 4th.
Please plan on alternate transportation (if needed) for your child’s fundraiser order. You may also opt to come during school hours to pick it up (after 2:30 please.)
There may be some frozen items that needs to either be delivered immediately, or stored in your home freezer until delivery can be taken.
Once again, thank you for your support of the CeVMS Jaguar Band!!!
